Brooks Jamison

Brooks Jamison began lessons at the age of 9 and has been playing guitar for 17 years. Described by many as a natural talent, he found inspiration in the alternative and hard-rock bands of the '90s and then soon began immersing himself in the works of the great classic rock and blues players such as Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. He has studied under acclaimed instructors, including Arbutus Music’s Jim Blair throughout the years and has continued to further hone his craft.

As the lead guitarist in Ryan McMahon and the Company Damn, he has gained experience on stage and in the recording studio working with renowned producer/engineer Andre Wahl (Hawksley Workman, Mudvayne) which has given him insight and knowledge to share for both the career minded and/or recreational player.

His deep personal commitment to see his students achieve their goals, coupled with his friendly, understanding and enthusiastic attitude; Brooks has become a favourite among young and old wishing to begin learning guitar.
